What set this training apart was its focus on authenticity—both on and off the mat. We weren’t just learning to teach poses; we were learning to teach from the inside out, using our felt experience, voice, and truth. I feel like I’ll leave the training not only confident in my ability to guide others, but also deeply connected to myself and my purpose. The community we built was another unexpected gift. The friendships, shared vulnerability, and mutual respect created a container for real transformation. I feel so grateful to be part of a network of embodied, heart-led teachers who are genuinely committed to personal and collective healing. Thank you so much Cali.

  • Lucy L

Completing my 200-hour yoga teacher training with Embodied Beings was one of the most profound and inspiring experiences of my life. What Calli is doing here is so much more than just training yoga teachers; she is actively changing the landscape of yoga for the better.-

  • Amelia

This training and practice of embodied movement has been transformative. You won’t find students perfectly moulded into a mirror image of their teacher here, you will find students supported in finding and honouring their own unique voice and expression.

  • Emma B.

I can’t say enough good things about Cali’s Embodied Beings Teacher Training. From the very first session, it was clear this wasn’t just another yoga teacher training—it was a deep dive into presence, self-awareness, and compassionate teaching. The programme beautifully integrated traditional yoga philosophy with somatic practices and scientific understanding of the human body, creating a truly holistic experience. Cali, Carl & Georgie are not only deeply knowledgeable, but also incredibly intuitive and supportive. They held a safe, nurturing space for transformation, where each of us felt seen, heard, and encouraged to grow at our own pace. The level of personal attention and feedback far exceeded my expectations.

  • Hannah M

Training with Calli and the Embodied Beings Back To The Heart TT will quite literally return you back to your heart. If you're like me, you will sign up to this training expecting to learn about anatomy, the history of yoga, sequencing, philosophy and maybe some sanskrit. And yes, whilst you will learn all of those things, you will ultimately learn the most about yourself; you can do hard and scary things and with the Embodied Beings community, you will be supported and applauded as you do them!

  • Rachel

Practicing and learning with Calli is eye opening and inspiring on so many levels. She is a pioneer -  paving a new way of moving, breathing and enabling the practitioner to understand their body on a deep, connecting level.

  • Briony

From a start point of “nothing is real until you have felt it” she introduced me to Embodied Yoga. This course bought fresh perspective to my understanding of yoga and inspired me to move and teach in new ways that feel more organic, authentic and personally meaningful.

  • Anonymous

Calli’s training has been truly life affirming to me. This training has taught me I can do big things, & I can achieve things I never thought I could. There have been so many ‘firsts’ for me in this process that I will never forget. and beyond that - I’ve now got a wonderful group of like minded friends that have carried me throughout this journey and after, that Calli has cultivated through her heart led training. It really has been so so much more than a yoga teacher training for me but a discovery of myself.

  • Eleanor

The back to the heart 200 hr YTT with Embodied Beings is incredibly special. The time, effort and passion Calli has put into building her extensive knowledge and craft, shone through in every aspect of the course. The people who are drawn to her energy are an equally fabulous bunch. I feel confident I'm entering the world as equipped as I could ever hope to be as a newly qualified yoga teacher.

  • Ella

I knew I wanted to undertake a teaching with Calli ever since I first started to attend her classes. Her level of knowledge is truly endless and I was blown away with the amount of information she gifted us with. What I took away from the CPD expanded way beyond either practical or technical value and I was blessed with a deeply moving personal experience. Above all else Calli brings her passion to her students of which is unavoidably infectious. If you have any uncertainty about committing, please take my word that like myself, you will be beyond grateful that you did. Likewise if you have that itch under your skin that maybe there is something else beyond your usual practice, another way, another feeling, lean in. There is magic on the other side waiting for you.

  • Kelly

Calli is magic in holding spaces with an abundance of care, where the whole of you is welcome. Her passion and knowledge is infectious, you’ll leave any training feeling inspired to explore further and share from a place of trusting your own body’s wisdom.  Learning from Calli is a transformative and embodied experience that vibrates through your cells and leaves your heart full.

  • Victoria

It’s hard to find the words for Calli’s magic. She provides a safe space for you to explore movement in a way that feels delicious for your body. Moving with her means losing all sense of conscious thought and turning instead into a fluid, rhythmic, marshmallow of a human. I love her classes, and am yet to meet somebody that doesn’t, but her teacher trainings are something else entirely. Incredible physical teaching, with such a clear passion for embodied practise and functional anatomy, all delivered in wonderful and diverse communities of people. The best teacher I’ve ever found, and a beautiful person through and through.

  • Fran

Calli shares her insights so passionately, from a place that feels so exciting that you cannot help but be excited yourself! The way in which she holds space and facilitates movement is nothing short of magic. It is as though your nervous system is getting one giant hug. Such richness evolves from a place of safety, nourishment and being held.

  • Elly

I've left Calli's teacher training full of creativity, inspiration and plenty of light bulb moments! She creates a safe space of acceptance , fun and self enquiry. This was different to any other yoga teacher trainings I've been on in all the best ways and I felt enabled to fully express myself as a teacher, I'm very grateful for the experience.

  • Anna

What a magical experience. This weekend has profoundly changed the way I'll teach from now onwards. Calli is not only amazingly knowledgeable but lives and breathes embodiment. I'm so grateful for this weekend.

  • Jenna

Training and practicing with Calli recently has been brilliant. Her patience, passion and generosity really shine through, creating a safe and stimulating learning environment that doesn't shy away from the messy reality of the yoga world or the outside world. Her emphasis on nervous system elasticity and safety has helped me find freedom in my body post-injury and inspired me to work towards facilitating this space for others. I highly recommend training and practicing with her if you can.

  • Iona

I fear that nothing I write here could do justice to Calli. Inspiring, intuitive, sensitive, knowledgeable, generous - a dynamo with great taste in music. Calli is all this and more. You have to experience her teachings.

  • Annabel

I’ve been lucky enough to have trained with Calli twice over the last few months. She gives such love, inspiration and vast knowledge within each training, and practices alike. Connecting and learning with Calli has truly transformed my approach to yoga and I’m so grateful for that. Her passion for yoga and for liberation really shine through all that she shares 🤍 thank you for continuing to speak up and advocate for all beings. Can’t recommend Calli enough for practices and trainings full of learning, play and inspiration!

  • Ana F

Couldn't have had a more positive experience training with Calli. Her knowledge + passion are unrivalled, as is her ability to create a safe, open, fun and easeful space. I have never felt so comfortable on a training, while at the same time learning so much. What I learned over our weekend together on the Embody and Flow CPD has changed my perspective as well as my teaching and I left feeling both inspired and encouraged. Couldn't recommend more highly!

  • Elle B.

I honestly feel blown away by this heart felt, meticulously crafted training. Calli pours her wisdom, passion and beautiful soul into everything she shares; from exceptional anatomy classes to beautiful sequencing, and truly feeling everything in between - it was really magical. As someone who had previously completed a teacher training several years ago, who was lacking confidence, feeling lost and very anxious about the thought of teaching, I can now proudly say this training has restored faith in my practice, my ability to share what I love and trust in myself.

  • Amelia

Walking into something like this it can be easy to feel alone – to wonder if you should have done more yoga and worked on becoming more flexible before signing up. But on this training I found a community I could walk hand in hand with, people who continue to be my loudest and proudest supporters regardless of whether I can touch my toes or pull off crow pose with aplomb. Through Calli I learnt that the heart of yoga isn’t about how beautifully you can pull off a shape but instead about moving from a place of presence and connection. I am so grateful to you both Calli and Georgie – you are magic.

  • Elle B.

I have grown and learnt so much in the last 6 months, it's difficult to put into words. I have come away with so much more than I could have asked for. I've found my voice, confidence to teach and an incredible community of newly qualified teachers (and life long friends) to share this next chapter with. Calli, Georgie and Carl - I'm so grateful for you all. Thank you for everything you shared, and most importantly thank you for being genuine, authentic, beautiful embodied human beings.

  • Suzi

YTTC training with Calli and Embodied beings is far more than your typical YTTC. The depth of knowledge, experience, passion, connection, research & emerging discourse into the field of movement, anatomy, and embodiment Calli provides goes unparalleled. With this being my second 200hr YTTC, they were worlds apart and I have emerged given skills, knowledge and experience to a level which has enabled me to teach and hold space for others in a way I never imagined possible. I highly recommend to anyone and everyone looking for a sense of community, a calling back home to themselves, the ability to self practise or the goal of teaching and sharing love.

  • Lucy L.

Completing my 200-hour yoga teacher training with Embodied Beings was one of the most profound and inspiring experiences of my life. What Calli is doing here is so much more than just training yoga teachers; she is actively changing the landscape of yoga for the better. Her unwavering commitment to an intersectional feminist approach is not just taught, it's embodied in everything she does. She is a true example of Ahimsa in action. The course content was incredibly in-depth and challenging, but what truly sets this training apart is Calli's phenomenal ability to hold space. A 200-hour training is an intense journey, and we all had our wobbles along the way. Calli's guidance kept us all grounded, supported, and connected as a group. I've learned so much, not just about yoga, but about myself. I cannot recommend this training highly enough for anyone looking for a YTT with integrity, depth, and real heart.

  • PIp J

Enrolling in Calli's YTT training program has proven to be one of the best decisions I have ever made.. The experience I had during the week in Spain was nothing short of incredible, and Calli's teaching approach is characterised by patience, empowerment, and engagement. She wholeheartedly dedicates herself to her students and remains readily available whenever we require assistance. Under her guidance, my yoga practice has progressed at an ideal pace, and I am genuinely so happy that I opted for a course that allowed ample time for learning. Additionally, I have become a valued member of a remarkable community, forging lifelong friendships, and I cannot stress enough how highly I recommend it. Above all, Calli will serve as your most enthusiastic supporter and motivator.

  • Charli

Calli is pure magic - one of the most authentic, kind, knowledgeable yoga teachers I’ve had the pleasure of training and practicing with. She’s also just the loveliest person with a huge heart!

  • Sylvia

Until meeting Calli and practicing with her, I did not necessarily feel like there would ever be space for me in the yoga teaching universe, but that has changed: through an embodied practice to help everyone reclaim sovereignty over their wonderful bodies.

  • Briony

Hands down the most impactful yoga teacher I have had the privilege of receiving training from. I cannot recommend anything Calli highly enough.

  • Kat P.

Calli is probably the most special teacher in the world. If you are lucky enough to find her you'll feel both held, seen and safe in the quietest parts of you and yet at the same time joyfully excitement and out the packet new as she's shown you the joy and freedom of moving in YOUR body. I always refer to Calli as "my teacher" because everything that ever stuck, changed me, moved me came from calli. And for that I am eternally grateful.

  • Rori

Calli is a kind, compassionate and highly knowledgeable and skilled yoga specialist. I go to Calli’s classes as often as I can make it in, and have taken her CPD also. Calli offers invaluable insight into how to teach and practice in a way that honours the positive parts of the yoga tradition, but that also acknowledges and adapts to our modern context. I always come away with a greater reverence for the human form, feeling positive, lighter and more grounded. Highly recommend.

  • Lottie

Inspiring and transformative - Calli's progressive teaching and wisdom has had a profound impact on the trajectory of my yoga teaching journey. My entire understanding and experience of yoga as a movement practice has changed forever. So too has my ability to listen, connect and feel my own body. What Calli teaches is a gift.

  • Christina

This training changed me, for the better. It spoke to my ongoing quest to have a less linear, restricted and more embodied somatic-based teaching practise. I knew it would give me so much knowledge on how I might totally embrace an embodied teaching practise from theming, sequencing, cueing and self-enquiry to the theory behind it all. But what I didn't expect was that the training would do so much more than this on an internal level on the way in which I view all of my teaching (adults, youth and children), the way I view my practise and my own sense of embodiment and physicality. It's hard to put into words but it was so rich and full of information especially the totally fascinating embodied anatomy, There was also some really wonderful experiential practises that showed us just how an embodied practise feels. Calli is hugely knowledgable both in the physical and theoretical and she shares so fully of herself, her teaching is groundbreaking. I now have even more of a fire in my belly to bring an embodied practise to all of my work and my life. Thank you Calli and Flow State. The world needs more of this.

  • Julia K.

A wonderful experience. Feeling so inspired by the 'unlearning' and it all made so much sense. I've been moving in this direction independently and it was incredible to feel empowered to embrace this all the more and follow my instinct to become more authentic and share yoga in this way: making that pure intention of inclusivity and connectivity through the practice of embodied yoga movement. Calli was so nurturing and kind and also clear. Heartfelt thanks.
