Carl Faure

Carl leads the Yoga Philosophy and History talks on our Foundation YTT

Carl is an experienced senior yoga teacher currently based in Ibiza. In the yoga world, he is best known for founding and running East London’s pioneering yoga studio, Stretch, which he led from 2012 to 2022.

Through Stretch, Carl and Calli trained hundreds of yoga teachers and developed a distinctive, evolving approach to practice that continues to inform his work today. With nearly 20 years of teaching experience, Carl is also a certified Inspirational Breathing breathwork practitioner of over 10 years, alongside his work as a strength and movement coach.

For the Embodied Beings training, Carl focuses on Yoga Philosophy and History. He brings a fun, embodied, and contemporary perspective to this profound ancient wisdom—guiding students through the often complex lineage of yoga in a way that is clear, relevant, and alive. Rather than keeping philosophy in the head, Carl helps translate it into lived experience, allowing students to feel it in the heart and share it naturally and authentically in their teaching.
