JASMINE NEWSOME -STONE
Jasmine completed her first YTT in India 6 years ago, holds more than 350 hours of training and has been practising Yoga for over a decade, she teaches throughout Brighton and Hove.
At the core of her teaching is a desire to help people understand their innate wholeness, not just as a perceived individual made of bones and connective tissues (although that’s important too!), but also within the greater context of both immediate and global community. She facilitates a playful, permission-giving practice that invites folks to explore their bodies and inner landscapes. Her practices are often a blend of active flowing forms of movement and moments of pause, both informed by deep listening and an inquisitive spirit.
A note from Jas:
”Practising and training with Calli and Embodied Beings over the last two years has nurtured and evolved my practice and teaching in the most potent way! Leaning into a more embodied approach has delivered me to a practice that helps me feel the richness of my physicality, but importantly doesn’t ask me to bypass or detach from reality. This, I feel, is one of the greatest gifts of a practice where embodiment isn’t just a symptom of practice, but rather is a central focus. I feel so honored to be able to support you and can’t wait to start this collaborative journey of learning, un-learning and growth with each and every one of you.”
